To dispel the common scientific misconceptions that many people hold about trans identities (including that sex is a biological binary), transgender woman Bridgett Kallinger of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation at Montclair will hold an in depth discussion of the research and literature on sex and gender. She will also lead the participants through an exploration of sex and gender as spectra, so that each participant may begin to examine where on the gender spectrum they may exist. Join us for this opportunity to learn something new, review ways treat others with more compassion, and connect more deeply with yourself. Courage, curiosity and compassionate questions are honored, embraced, and gladly received.
